Ms. Cordier is the founding partner of the firm who represents individuals and families from all walks of life throughout Maryland and Washington, D.C. Her primary experience and practice is in litigation of criminal, family, and civil matters. Her criminal experience has ranged from newsworthy felony cases to simple misdemeanor offenses. In addition, she also represents individuals who find themselves confronted with family law disputes and issues as well as other civil matters including contracts, debt collection, and landlord tenant matters. In her spare time, she frequently serves as a legal commentator on news, radio and print publications to discuss current trends and issues facing the community, including criminal law issues as well as issues regarding divorce, custody, visitation, and support.
In 1997, Ms. Cordier was admitted to practice in Maryland. In the following year, she was admitted in both the U.S. District Court (District of Maryland) and the U.S. District Court (District of Columbia) and was later sworn in to practice in the United States Supreme Court.
Ms. Cordier is the past-president of the Maryland Hispanic Bar Association, fellow of the Maryland Bar Foundation and Montgomery County Bar Foundation, past Secretary General of the Inter-American Bar Association (IABA), past-president of the IABA's Women's Rights Committee, and has served two terms as the Montgomery County Commissioner on the State of Maryland Governor's Commission on Hispanic Affairs. She is also a member of the Montgomery County Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association and has served on various committees of the different bar associations.
